KUCHING: The business-to-business (B2B) relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia, particularly Sarawak, will continue to be enhanced.

He stressed the strong bilateral, regional, and Asean cooperation between the two countries, and highlighted their shared stance on palm oil issues in dealing with the European Union (EU), which is managed at the federal level by Putrajaya and the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
“At the consular level, our primary focus remains on consular affairs, labor matters, and socio-economic and cultural issues.
“Sarawak is very close to Indonesia, and we must leverage this proximity to bring benefits to both sides, whether through B2B or government-to-government (G2G) collaboration,” he said said at the ‘Special Iftar Gathering: Indonesian Update’ at the Indonesian consulate on Wednesday (Mar 26).
Raden expressed optimism about the growing ties between Indonesia and Sarawak, particularly with the upcoming relocation of Indonesia’s capital to Nusantara, which he said presents new opportunities for cooperation.
“Sarawak needs Indonesia, and Indonesia needs Sarawak. We must work together for mutual benefit. Hopefully, we will continue to support each other in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and other areas of collaboration,” he added.
