KUCHING: The inaugural Borneo Highlands Country and Western Music Night will be held at the Biperoh Kuching Association (BKA hall, located at the junction of Kampung Emperoh Gerung, Jalan Borneo Heights, Padawan on Aug 30 at 7pm.
Brought by Maasa Event & Tourism Services and White Dove Cafe, this will the first ever such event to be held in Padawan.
The organiser spokesman Henry Bateh said some 200 people are expected to attend the event.
Henry said Kuching’s very own country band Hi Breed will perform at the show.
A household name in the local entertainment scene, Hi Breed will be playing a wide repertoire of country tunes at the show.
“Country music fans can expect an exciting show,” added Henry.
He said tickets priced at RM80 each inclusive of western dinner are still on sale until Aug 28 at the White Dove Cafe, Simpang Kampung Giam, Borneo Heights Road.
