KUCHING: Sarawak is set to stage over 10 matches of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 tournament tomorrow (Jan 18) at the Borneo Cricket Ground, here, in Petra Jaya.

Slated to conclude by Jan 28, this match-up includes Group C’s preliminary rounds and the thrilling Super Six matches, showcasing elite teams to cricket fans worldwide.

Matches will be broadcasted live to over 180 countries, shining a spotlight on Sarawak as a premier destination for sports tourism.

The event will not only highlight Sarawak’s capability to host world-class sporting events but also to serve as a platform to showcase the region’s vibrant culture and unmatched hospitality.

This year marks the first time Sarawak hosts an ICC-approved international cricket event, a testament to the region’s rising prominence in global sports.

Beyond the pitch, Sarawak offers an unforgettable cultural experience. The Nyamai @ Cricket World Cup Edition, a festival co-organized by the Sarawak Gastronomy Association and
Sarawak Cricket Association, will feature, traditional cuisine, a pavilion dedicated to Sarawak’s iconic dishes.
