KUCHING: Hundreds of people yesterday turned up for the Social Media Mini Carnival held in conjunction with TEDxKenyalang at the old State Legislative Assembly complex here.

The programme was organised by Koperasi Belia Inovatif Sarawak (KOBIS) in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and E-Commerce   (MITEC) and BIMP EAGA to encourage entrepreneurship in Sarawak.

The programme also involves some non-governmental entrepreneurship organisations in Sarawak such as Dewan Usahawan Bumiputera Sarawak (DUBS), Persatuan  Usahawan Wawasan Wanita Sarawak (SARANITA), Persatuan Pedagang Dan Pengusaha Melayu Malaysia (PERDASAMA), Persatuan Sarawak Entrepreneurship Association (SEA) and Integrated Digital Entrepreneur Association of Sarawak (IDEAS).

Speakers at the event included JW Sam, Amirul Hafiz, Dr Ester Michael,  Denia Abdussamad, Kiyoshi, Isabelle, Hamaz and Kartni Arifin.
