The Swiss watch brand Hublot has unveiled the “Big Bang Meca-10 Nicky Jam” wristwatch, paying homage to the famous reggaeton singer. Three limited edition versions will be available, including a high-jewelry version set with over 300 diamonds.
Nearly six months after signing up Nicky Jam as its new global ambassador, Hublot has unveiled a wristwatch in his honour, featuring his favorite colours, his initials and his signature. The watch lands in three versions, with models in black ceramic and 18K King Gold — an alloy of gold, copper and platinum developed by Hublot — as well as an exceptional King Gold High Jewellery model.
“What a privilege to be able to wear a masterpiece of Swiss watchmaking bearing my initials on my wrist today! What does this have in common with my music? Behind every great success, be it a watch or a song, lies huge work resulting from an entire team’s efforts,” said Nicky Jam in a statement.
The watch has a 45mm case and uses the HUB1201 manual-winding skeleton movement with up to 10 days’ power reserve. The dial features the Nicky Jam logo with his initials at 12 o’ clock. The watch is supplied with a choice of straps, with one option offering red, yellow and green alligator leather stitched on black rubber.
There are three versions of the “Big Bang Meca-10 Nicky Jam” wristwatch: a black ceramic version; a King Gold version set with semi-precious stones, including orange and yellow sapphires and tsavorites; and a King Gold model set with over 300 baguette-cut diamonds. – Relaxnews
