SARIKEI: Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, the Sarikei MP and Repok assemblyman, has been re-elected as Chairman of the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Sarikei Branch for the 2025-2027 term.
The SUPP Sarikei Branch held its Triennial General Meeting (TGM) and elections today (Nov 10).
The Youth Section convened in the morning, followed by the Women’s Section in the afternoon, with the branch TGM held later in the day.
During the elections, Andrew Wong Pak Ung was re-elected as Youth Chief, while Wong Zee Yeng retained her position as Women’s Chief of the SUPP Sarikei Branch.
The branch also confirmed the leadership team, which includes Empaling Lanyau as Deputy Chairman, Vice Chairmen Law Ing Liong, Ting Sing Fee, Law Hien Yii, and Wong Kong Hua.
Huang, who also serves as the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, thanked the branch committee members for their ongoing support throughout his tenure as chairman.
He was represented at the meeting by Treasurer Ling Dien Yong.
