SARIKEI: Students of SMK Bandar Sarikei received donations of two sets of school uniforms and a pair of shoes from Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii on January 13.
The Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sustainability, who is also the Sarikei MP and the Repok assemblyman, said that it is part of his initiative to assist families in need, especially ahead of the new school term.
The uniforms were distributed by his service centre team, and the school expressed gratitude to Huang for easing the financial burden on parents.
The school noted that the donation not only offers material support but also inspires students to work harder in their studies.
