KUCHING: Housing Development Corporation (HDC) advised members of the public to use the proper channel to voice out their concern and share any information regarding any damage affecting their home.
Chief executive officer of HDC, Mohamad Asman Ahmad said sharing the wrong information will cause worries and concern among members of the public.
“Every complaint that are received that uses the proper channel will be processed and we will continue to give response to all those complaints, but at the same time, we will take action according to the standard operating procedure (SOP) that is set up,” he said in a statement yesterday.
He said this in response to the issue concerning pictures and information of the damages involving house units at Blok 1a, Darul Hana Development Project, here that went viral recently.
Asman added that in order to ensure safety of the residents at its best level, continuous monitoring would be done.
Elaborating further on the issue, he added that maintaining works are currently underway.
