KUCHING: Bau Hospital is looking for the family members of a Malay patient named Mohd Ibrahim, whose last address is Kampung Gersik.
The patient was found at the Kuching Waterfront without any identification documents and was brought to Sarawak General Hospital on May 27.
He was only able to inform the hospital of his name and last address; he was moved to Bau Hospital on May 31.
Members of the public who recognise the patient can contact the hospital at 082-763711.
Meanwhile, Hospital Sibu is looking for the next-of-kin of an Iban patient named Basik Gelau.
According to information received from the hospital, he was brought to the hospital via ambulance on May 23 and is currently in the Neurosurgery Ward, Level 1.
His last known address is Rumah Nyipa, Kuala Pandan, Sebauh.
The hospital found that there have been no relatives or families coming to take care of the patient.
They have also tried to contact the patient’s next-of-kin to discuss his further treatment, but to no avail.
Anyone who knows the patient is urged to contact the hospital’s Medical Social Work officer Nurfarahin Mat Shah at 084-238888 (ext 7505) during office hours or meet the medical officer at Neurosurgery Ward 14.
