Hospital gets medical equipment from anonymous donor

MIRI: Transport Minister cum minister-in-charge of the Miri Divisional Disaster Management Committee, Datuk Lee Kim Shin handed over eight units of Kangaroo enteral feeding pump and eight units of Comen’s syringe pump, amounting to RM60, 000, to Miri Hospital today (June 30).

Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong Siew Yu was present to receive the medical equipment on behalf of the hospital.

The equipment, which will be used to manage patients in the intensive care unit of the hospital, especially those with severe Covid-19 infection, were donated by an anonymous benefactor.

Lee, when met after the handover ceremony of the medical devices, expressed his gratitude towards the anonymous benefactor for the contribution.
