KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching is providing essential aid to a four-year-old disabled toddler, Nur Imara Qalisha Randi, by supplying her with children’s milk powder and baby diapers.
Hope Place Kuching, in a statement, said that Imara, who lived in Kampung Haji Baki here with her parents and three older siblings, had a physical disability and a colon problem.
Born prematurely, she has suffered complications since birth, and her condition has left her unable to walk.
“Despite her challenges, Imara remains an active and cheerful child, crawling around the house and engaging with those around her.
“Her father, Randi, 41, is a daily-paid construction worker and the sole breadwinner of the family.
“He not only supports his four children, aged between 10 and 16, but also cares for his 68-year-old mother.
“With limited financial resources, the family struggles to meet their daily needs,” said the organisation.
According to Imara’s mother, Puspasari, 38, the young girl has undergone surgery, leaving a scar on her back.
“While her parents remain uncertain about Imara’s future, they hope for a better life for her,” said Hope Place Kuching.
Hope Place, also known as Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (PKHK), continues its mission of aiding underprivileged families by supporting Imara and her family.
