KUALA LUMPUR: Hornbill Networks Consortium Sdn Bhd (HNC) proudly announced its double victory at the Forward Faster Sustainability Awards 2024, held on November 25 here.
Organised by the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), the awards recognise outstanding achievements in advancing sustainable development.
“HNC was honoured in two categories: Sustainability Awareness and Employee Engagement Recognition and Partnership for the Goals Recognition.
“Notably, this marks the second consecutive year that HNC has won the Partnership for the Goals Recognition award, reaffirming its leadership in fostering impactful collaborations to advance sustainable development goals (SDGs),” HNC said in its press release.
The Sustainability Awareness and Employee Engagement Recognition award highlights HNC’s efforts to nurture a workplace culture rooted in environmental responsibility.
“By implementing comprehensive training programmes, engaging campaigns, and interactive workshops, the company equips employees with the tools to actively contribute to sustainability,” HNC added.
The Partnership for the Goals Recognition underscores HNC’s ongoing collaborations with government agencies, non-governmental organisations, and local communities. Notable initiatives include the development of solar panel-ready homes, the integration of smart home technologies, and the production of eco-friendly construction materials.
“These efforts exemplify our commitment to innovative and sustainable development solutions,” HNC added.
The Forward Faster Sustainability Awards, organised annually by UNGCMYB, celebrates organisations and individuals championing sustainability and driving progress toward global SDGs.
The 2024 ceremony brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and environmental advocates to honour groundbreaking achievements in sustainability.
