MIRI: Heavy rain on Monday night resulted in flooding at two longhouses in Subis.

The Miri Civil Defence Force has sent teams to monitor the situation after learning that the longhouses, named Rumah Richard Pilet and Rumah Edward Jampi, were affected.

Roads leading to Rumah Richard Pilet were submerged under one and a half feet of water, while those heading to Rumah Edward Jampi were covered by two and a half feet, making them inaccessible to vehicles.

As of today (September 12), there has been no need to relocate villagers since the situation remains manageable.
