Head of State graces Aidilftri open houses in Miri

MIRI: On the sixth day of Aidilfitri, Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, along with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, continued their festive rounds here by visiting several open houses.

Their first stop was at an open house hosted by the Persatuan Melayu Miri at the Miri Indoor Stadium, where they joined the local community in celebrating the festive occasion.

Next, they made their way to the residence of Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat, Sports, Youth and Entrepreneur Development Deputy Minister.

They arrived around 12.45 pm and the visit was a testament to the continued collaboration between leaders and the community.

Continuing their rounds, they visited the home of Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health, at his residence on Jalan Bakam.

The final visit of the day took place at the residence of Datuk Rosey Yunus, Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Deputy Minister, at Taman Bumiko here around 2.45 pm.

Joining Wan Junaidi and Fauziah during the visit were Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, state ministers, deputy ministers, state assemblymen, and other distinguished guests.

These visits were not just about celebrating Aidilfitri, but also served as a crucial platform for strengthening unity, fostering understanding, and enhancing the relationship between the people and their leaders.
