KUCHING: Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib has been appointed Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Kota Sentosa branch chief, marking a new chapter in efforts to bolster unity and political development particularly in the area.

TVS reported that Hanifah is optimistic about championing PBB’s agenda for the welfare and progress of the region, outlining her plans to lead Kota Sentosa for the next three years.

“I hope all members will continue working together to strengthen the party’s foundation and maintain political stability.

“This is crucial in realising the vision of a prosperous and progressive Sarawak by 2030,” she said.

The Deputy Minister of Economy made these remarks in an interview with TVS on Tuesday.

Amidst global transformations, Hanifah emphasised her commitment to prioritising the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in advancing the green economy.

“We are grateful that Sarawak is blessed with abundant natural resources, religious and cultural harmony, as well as economic and political stability.
