BINTULU: The Bintulu Port Foundation, through its Bintulu Port Prihatin programme, recently donated essential item hampers to the Paediatric Ward at Bintulu Hospital in conjunction with the Paediatric Ward Appreciation Day.
The donation aimed to bring cheer to children receiving treatment at the hospital while providing comfort to their parents who remain by their side.
The delegation, led by Maslihah Tioh, general manager of Group Stakeholder Relations at Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB), delivered the contribution.
They also took time to interact with the children and their parents in the ward.
According to Maslihah, this initiative reflects BPHB’s commitment to supporting healthcare institutions and promoting community well-being, in line with its role as a caring community partner.
“Our hope is to bring some joy to the children undergoing treatment and offer moral support to their families,” she said.
This programme is part of BPHB’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its ties with the local community through continuous contributions and social initiatives.
