KUCHING: Gunto FC has officially launched its new jersey ahead of the Liga Bandaraya 2025 season, set to kick off in April.
Club manager Arif Roslan described the kit release as a significant milestone, coinciding with the club’s one-year anniversary.
“The design, inspired by lightning (kilat) or ‘gunto’ in Sarawak, reflects the identity and creative spirit of Gunto FC while also honouring the community of Kuching, Sarawak,” Arif told the Sarawak Tribune today (March 22).
With a dynamic squad comprising players of all ages and a rejuvenated team spirit, Arif believes the new look will bring fresh energy to the club’s campaign.
The jersey, made from lightweight and breathable fabric sourced from Indonesia, is designed for optimal performance on the pitch while also serving as a stylish casual wear option. It proudly features Gunto FC’s exclusive 3D team logo.
For the 2025 season, Gunto FC will don a cream and blue color scheme—symbolizing exclusivity, premium quality, and originality. These shades are meant to embody the essence of legends and champions, instilling confidence in the team as they prepare to make their mark in the league.
