KUCHING: Gunto FC is determined to stay consistent and focused as they gear up for their Liga Bandaraya 2025 clash against KUIR FT tomorrow (Sunday, April 20) at 6.45 pm.
Facing a side they have never played before, team manager, Arif Roslan, said the team is treating the match with respect and full commitment.
“We’ve never played them before, but I believe both sides will give their best. It’s going to be a solid match.
“Whether we get the three points or not depends on us – our effort, our focus. We’ll give our best. That’s all we can do,” he said.
With the league heating up, Arif pointed out on the importance of consistency as Gunto FC looks to keep momentum and represent their club with pride.
“As always, we’re ready. We know it’s a big challenge going up against tough teams in the Liga Bandaraya.
“Consistency is key, and that’s what we’re focusing on to carry the name of Gunto FC proudly in this competitive tournament,” he told Sarawak Tribune when contacted today.
Coming off recent positive performances with a 2-1 win over GFC, team morale remains high.
“The team is happy, and it definitely adds more motivation to keep pushing.
“We want to stay consistent and keep climbing. The journey’s still long, but the spirit is high,” Arif said.
Gunto FC is currently building strong momentum and hopes to continue their run when they face KUIR FT at Padang C on Sunday.
