THE government will continue to provide for the maintenance of offices and quarters in each division, district and sub-district to ensure conditions are at optimum level.

This assurance came from Minister in the Premier’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai during his ministerial winding-up speech at the DUN sitting on Tuesday (May 24).

As for the multi-storey administrative complex in Daro, there are currently no plans to build one.

Meanwhile, the construction of the new Pusa District Office building started in March 2022 and is expected to be completed in January, 2024.

This was raised by Razaili Gapor (GPS-Beting Maro), and concerning the project scope for the new building, “it includes an administrative office, small treasury office, native court room, community leader room, and general facilities such as meeting room, multipurpose gallery, toilet and surau,” Sikie added.
