Governor attends State Secretary’s Aidilfitri Open House

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, along with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, graciously attended the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House hosted by the Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, at his residence today.

Wan Junaidi and Fauziah were warmly welcomed upon arrival by Abu Bakar and his wife, Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang, at exactly 12.30 pm.

The event was further enlivened by the presence of state government leaders, department heads, representatives from various agencies, and other distinguished guests from all walks of life.

Held in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere, the event served as a platform to strengthen ties between leaders and the people, in line with the spirit of unity that defines Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations in the state.

Adding to the festive mood were an array of traditional Hari Raya delicacies such as lemang, ketupat, rendang, cendol and a variety of traditional cookies.

This Hari Raya Open House is one of the annual events that symbolises the close relationship and provides an opportunity to foster stronger ties between civil servants, leaders and the people of the state.
