KUCHING: Pizza lovers should make a date with the Kuching Food Festival where the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) will be debuting its ‘Pizza La Borneo’ at Stall 23 from July 29 to Aug 21.
The BCCK culinary team led by Chef Tawfeeq Seow has crafted nine-inch pizzas to represent “Pizza La Borneo”.
“We have recently equipped our kitchen with a new pizza oven capable of making approximately 80 pizzas per hour and Kuching Festival is a great avenue to introduce this latest equipment, as well as showcase our culinary team’s creativity” said BCCK chief executive officer Eric van Piggelen.
Van Piggelen said all pizzas are daily made with fresh dough, generously topped with Mozzarella and cheddar cheese along with the freshest ingredients.
“From only RM18 onwards, ‘Pizza La Borneo’ comes with six bold and balanced recipes, each tailored for the festival goers with an appetite for adventurous flavours,” he said.
The six flavours are Lamb Keema, Sicilian Pepperoni with Honey and Chilli, Verdure, Mexican Fiesta, Spicy Diavolo and Margherita.
Best known for featuring a huge selection of unique and creative food, the Kuching Food Festival will kick off this weekend at its usual venue – Dewan Masyarakat MBKS at Jalan Padungan.
