SARATOK: Nurisya Sabrina Sakawi, 19, is looking for her biological father whom she needs to be her ‘wali’ at her wedding soon.
Sabrina who lives in Kabong said it is important for her father, Sakawi Ibrahim, believed to be in his 60s to be present during her wedding.
She is seeking public assistance to find her father.
“We have lost contact with him (her father) since 1999. I also don’t have a photograph of my father. Some people said that he has moved to Peninsular Malaysia.
“In this regards, I hope anyone who knows his whereabouts can contact me at tel: 016-8502407,” she added.
The wedding ceremony is expected to be held at the Betong District Islamic Council on 5 June.
