KUALA LUMPUR: IT services company FSBM Holdings Bhd, through its subsidiary FSBM I-Design Sdn Bhd, has signed two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with VisionTech Pte Ltd and Cydentiq Sdn Bhd to develop advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity solutions.

The collaboration with VisionTech, a Singapore-based generative AI firm, aims to create AI-driven solutions for improving efficiency, addressing workforce challenges, and enhancing decision-making, while the partnership with cybersecurity solutions provider Cydentiq focuses on embedding security measures like identity governance, threat monitoring, and industry compliance.

Speaking at the press conference after the MOU signing, FSBM executive director William Ng Kok Kiong said the partnerships are part of the company’s strategy to expand its offerings in analytics, business intelligence, and AI of Things (AIoT).

“The cybersecurity market in Malaysia is very large, and there are not many players in it, so we want to step in faster.

“The Malaysian government is actively pushing AI-related initiatives, and this timing is perfect as our vision aligns with these efforts,” he said.

As for FSBM’s target, Ng said the company is committed to growing its market presence.

“We will do our best to capture some of the market share, and while I cannot promise the exact number, I can assure you that we will work to grow the market alongside our two new partners,” he said.

“By collaborating with VisionTech and Cydentiq, we aim to address the evolving needs of businesses in adopting AI technologies while ensuring these solutions are secure and compliant with ethical standards,” he added.
