KUCHING: The National Cancer Council (MAKNA) is providing free breast cancer screening for women aged 40 to 65 at two locations in Kuching and Kota Samarahan starting Mar 26 to April 1.
Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian is urging women in the age group to come forward for the screening.
“Do spread the word and actively invite women in the age group to come forward for free screenings,” he said yesterday.
Meanwhile, the free breast cancer screening here is held at Padungan Community Hall from March 26 to 29 (9 am to 5 pm).
In Kota Samarahan, it will be held in the compound of the Dewan Suarah Kota Samarahan from March 30 to April 1 (9 am to 5 pm).
The free breast cancer screening is also held in collaboration with the Kuching Division Health Office and Kota Samarahan Health Office.
