KUCHING: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) will be giving away free flight tickets from Kuching to international and domestic destinations in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2025.
MATTA Sarawak Chapter chairman Oscar Choo said the flight tickets include two economy class return tickets to Paris, Danang, Chiang Mai, Trivandrum, Jakarta and Seoul respectively.
The tickets will be awarded to winners of its buyers’ contest.
“Besides that, other sponsors will also be giving out tickets such as one Scoot flight return ticket to Tokyo and Singapore, vouchers to Damai Beach and Lagoon Resort, Hilton Kuching, Hotel Grand Continental Kuching, Mega Hotel Miri, Meritin Hotel Kuching, Meritz Hotel Miri, Pullman Kuching, Sarawak River Cruise, Sarawak Toutism Board, Sematan Palm Beach Resort, Royal Kuching Cruise, Grand Margherita Hotel, Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana and many more.
“Pertubuhan Pembangunan Insan Sarawak (PPIS) and Lions Club Kuching Unity will also hold a free mini medical camp offering medical check-ups and other medical screening including blood donation during the MATTA Fair 2025,” he said during a press conference for the upcoming event.
On another note, Choo stated that there are already 103 booths that have confirmed their participation during the two-day event.
“We expect between 5,000 to 6,000 visitors will be coming to the fair.
“Last year we recorded RM9 million in sales and hopefully this year, we can surpass that target,” he said.
MATTA Fair 2025 will be held at BCCK on April 5 to 6, from 10 am until 10 pm daily.
Admission is free.
