KUCHING: Four Indonesian nationals were detained for entering the country illegally at Kandaie near Lundu at 10.30 am, yesterday.
The four were caught by soldiers from the 4th Royal Armoured Corps while conducting an operation codenamed ‘Op Sekap’.
The four had entered the country on two motorcycles and were behaving suspiciously. Following the arrest and after they were interrogated the four were found without any travel document.
Besides the two motorcycles, tools to catch fish using electric current, were also seized from the four. The four aged between 28 and 40 years, two motorcycles and tools seized were later taken to Lundu Police Station.
