BAU: A total of 620 households in the Chinese Zone areas here that have been affected by the movement control order (MCO) received food aid under the Bantuan Khas Sarawakku Sayang (BKSS) 6.0 package today (June 8).
Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) said the distribution of the assistance was carried out by the Tasik Biru Constituency Service Centre.
The recipients are those from Buso, Tondong, Taiton/Lubang Angin and Bidi/Nam Leong Krokong, Musi, Jambusan, Bau Town, Bau Old Town, Sebuku, Krian and Tanjung Batu.
Also present were representatives of Bau District Council and the Kapitan of the respective areas.
