SIBU: Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang is bracing for a year of personal and professional growth in 2025, with a focus on self-improvement and community engagement.

“I plan to broaden my knowledge by reading more books and online materials, as well as acquiring new skills,” Gira said, adding that he aims to join professional networks to enhance his career as a civil engineer.

He also intends to explore business development opportunities and leverage advanced technologies to boost competitiveness in his field.

On a personal level, Gira shared thoughts on living a healthy lifestyle.

“I want to focus on regular exercise, healthy eating habits, reducing alcohol consumption, and ensuring I get sufficient rest. Routine medical check-ups will also be part of my health goals,” he told Sarawak Tribune.

“I hope to spend more quality time with my family, reconnect with old friends, and meet new people. Sharing ideas, exchanging knowledge, and communicating effectively with my community, office team, and business partners will be key priorities.”

A firm believer in giving back, Gira plans to dedicate time to charitable causes.

“In 2025, I want to be actively involved in church activities, NGOs, and volunteer programmes. These are meaningful ways to contribute to society and make a positive impact.”

Gira also expressed his enthusiasm for embracing life’s adventures.

“I want to travel more frequently, visit new countries, and pursue hobbies that bring joy and fulfilment. Life is about balance, and I aim to make the most of every moment,” he said.

“Here’s to a year of growth, contribution, and adventure. Happy New Year!”
