Flying doctors making their way to several rural areas this month

KUCHING: The Flying Doctor Service (FDS) will be in Kuching, Samarahan, Miri, Bintulu, and Kapit districts from Apr 17 to 27.

For the Kuching district, FDS will be visiting Kampung (Kpg) Rejoi Nyegol and Kpg Bojong Sting on Apr 25 and Kpg Muk Ayun on Apr 26.

As for Samarahan district, the visit to Plaie Atas and Pendawan will be on Apr 19; SRK Tuba Tengah (Apr 20); Muding and Kpg Ijok (Apr 21).

On Apr 17, FDS will be in Rumah (Rh) Bada, Ng Talong, Ulu Engkari and Rh Nyandang, Ulu Akup, Skrang in Sri Aman district; and Ng Bawie and Ulu Lemanak (Apr 18).

Meanwhile, on Apr 17, FDS will be visiting Ba Purau in Miri district; Long Liau (Apr 18); Long Buken (Apr 19); Ba’ Ajeng (Apr 20) and Ba Pakan (Apr 21).

In Bintulu district, the service will be available at Rh Drick, Jelalong, Tubau and Rh Felix, Tubau on Apr 25; Rh Robert, Ulu Kakus and Long Biyak, Ulu Kakus (Apr 26); and Rh Renang, Sigu and Rh Jaling, Sigu (Apr 27).

For Kapit, FDS will visit Rh Acau on Apr 17; Rh Ai Anak Jalin and Sg Entawau, Bena Balleh (Apr 18); Long Unai (Apr 19); Sang Anau and Batu Keling (Apr 20); Long Jawe and Long Kebuho (Apr 21); Long Tanyit (Apr 25); Punan Busang and Lusong Laku (Apr 26); and Long Kajang and Long Abit (Apr 27).

FDS urged communities in these areas to be present in their homes or longhouses for treatment.
