KUCHING: The flood relief centre in Simunjan district was closed at 3pm yesterday following a significant improvement of the flood situation.
A spokesman from the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee secretariat said in a statement issued yesterday that all victims from 18 families who sought shelter at the Kampung Lutong, Sebangan community hall had returned to their respective homes.
The secretariat thanked all the agencies involved in evacuating the flood victims.
