MIRI: The health clinic and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Pengarah Enteri in Ulu Teru, Baram, experienced flooding following heavy rainfall between Jan 13 and 15.

Despite the inundation, both the school and clinic have continued to operate as normal.

According to a report from the Marudi District Civil Defence Force (APM), flood monitoring conducted on Wednesday (15 January) indicated that water levels were receding, aided by sunny weather.

No temporary evacuation centres (PPS) have been established at this time, and residents are being urged to stay vigilant.

Authorities advised residents to closely monitor water levels and evacuate should conditions become unsafe.

The team conducts similar monitoring at SK Pengarah Enteri.
