BINTULU: Pieces of wood inside a container caught fire in a wood factory at Jalan Kidurong here earlier today.
The container measuring 12’ by 8’ is used to dry up the pieces of wood.
Nine firefighters led by senior fire officer II Mostapha Wasli who were deployed to the location to extinguish the fire. When they arrived, they found out that the pieces of wood inside the container were 50 per cent burnt. The operation ended around 10am and thankfully, no one was harmed in the incident.
