DARO: A single-storey wooden house at Kampung Tengah here was completely destroyed by a fire on Friday.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre yesterday, a distress call was received at 4.21pm on Friday.
Seven firefighters, led by PBK II Mohd Mafri, from Daro fire station were despatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the 30×60 square feet house was fully razed and three of its occupants managed to escape unharmed.
The fire was completely extinguished at 5.38pm by the firefighters who were assisted by a team of seven personnel from the Daro Bomba Volunteers Team, Civil Defence Force (five) and police (three).
