Federal Secretary lauds MBKS Covid-19 One Stop Centre

KUCHING: Federal Secretary of Sarawak Datuk Amir Omar paid a visit to the Covid-19 One Stop Centre (OSC) at the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Dewan Masyarakat here today.

His arrival was welcomed by MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng and Covid-19 OSC commander-in-chief Dr Cheong Yaw Liang.

A briefing was given by Dr Cheong regarding the operations of the centre and Amir was also brought around the OSC.

Amir said he felt happy and satisfied with the team’s efficiency in dealing with the public and managing the centre.

He believed that it was not an easy task to ensure that all services at the OSC ran smoothly, but with the support from all the government agencies, it can be done well.

He also mentioned how proud he was of the frontliners stationed at the MBKS Dewan Masyarakat.

He thanked them for their hard work and endless fighting spirit to ensure that the people are well taken care of during this pandemic.
