ACTOR Fattah Amin recently reiterated his wife Nur Fazura’s statement that he has the right to know with whom she is friends.
The 33-year-old “Mat Kilau” actor, who addressed questions about Fazura’s previous similar statement, stated that it was important for a husband to know this, seeing that a wife had to get the permission of her husband whenever she wanted to leave the house. “It is normal for husband and wife to advise one another on all sorts of things,” Fattah said.
However, he dismissed the notion of being a “controlling” husband, saying that Fazura wouldn’t have been able to do her work otherwise.
“We shouldn’t see it as something negative. If I was controlling her, she wouldn’t have been able to go out for a shoot,” he added.
Fattah’s response came after Fazura told the media that he had the right to determine whom she was friends with, which was a response to questions about Neelofa previously saying that she hoped to end once and for all rumours of their alleged conflict. Fazura also stressed that she and Neelofa had never been in a cold war, as had been continuously reported.
