Fashion and attire programme helps boost students’ confidence

KUCHING: A total of 17 students from the Fashion and Attire Certificate programme of Kuching Community College (KKKg) presented the end product from their project spanning over two semesters of study during the Final Student Evaluation Programme at the Multipurpose Hall, Kuching Community College here, last Thursday.

This evaluation involves two courses, namely SFP 2032 (Fashion Design 1) and SFP 2043 (Fashion Evolution) of December 2018 session.

Head of SFP Programme cum Head Evaluator, Mohd Aliff Safuan Jamaluddin said, “The programme is carried out to expose students on the flow of presentation materials professionally to the panel of evaluators apart from nurturing team spirits within students”.

He also hoped that the programme would expand the IQ of students pertaining on fashion and attire and at the same time, elevate their confidence in delivering presentations to large groups of audiences.

A panel of five lecturers from the Fashion and Attire programme was involved in the evaluation of the student’s end product. The panel consisted of Mohd Aliff Safuan, Mohamad Shukri Che Ya, Nur Hakim Raifli, Elfy Fariza Sharkawi and Joana Wik Ningkan.
