MIRI: A fallen tree obstructing a key pathway for villagers in Sungai Nat, Beluru, was successfully removed by members of the Marudi District Civil Defence (APM) today (Jan 14).

According to a statement from the Marudi District APM, an emergency call was received at 11.39am from villagers reporting the incident.

The tree had fallen across the route used by residents to access to a nearby clinic and school.

In response, four APM personnel were swiftly deployed to the site.

Upon their arrival, they found the large tree completely blocking the pathway, posing significant inconvenience to the community.

The team carried out an operation to cut and safely remove the fallen tree.

The clean-up was completed at 2.10pm, restoring accessibility for the villagers.
