SEMATAN: The Kampung Siru Dayak’s Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) received a shot in the arm with an additional RM15,000 on top of its 2025 annual grant.
Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan said the allocation intended to enhance facilities at the newly completed Kampung Siru Dayak Town Hall.
“Further funding can be requested if the initial allocation proves insufficient based on the provided quotation, ensuring the necessary supplies can be procured,” he said during the Key Handover Ceremony and the Gawai 2024 Celebration at the village on Friday.
Azizul also confirmed their request for a futsal field upgrade would be addressed through the Sarawak Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) 2025 project.
“A survey will precede to ascertain the project’s cost,” he added.
Azizul also said a RM9 million allocation for the second phase of the door-to-door road project had been approved by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and it will begin early next month.
