BELADIN: Inclusive education nurtures empathy, respect, and understanding, preparing children to embrace diversity and contribute to a harmonious society.
Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor said this form of education is crucial for nurturing respectful generations, as it prepares children not only for school but also for embraces diversity and mutual respect.
(Inclusive education is defined as a learning environment that promotes the full personal, academic and professional development of all learners irrespective of race, class, gender, disability, religion, sexual preference, learning styles and language.)
“I am proud to celebrate the diversity of cultures, languages, and backgrounds among these children.
“Such diversity shapes quality human capital and prepares them to contribute to a harmonious society,” he said during the Betong zone convocation ceremony of SeDidik Sarawak here on Sunday (Dec 23).
During the ceremony, a total of 92 young graduates from 11 SeDidik centres in Betong zone received their graduation certificates.
Also present during the ceremony were general manager of SeDidik Ayub Dahari, senior manager (Programme Implementation Sector) Awang Kederi Awang Mahdar; and assistant education officer of PPD Betong Lim Geok Hong.
