KUALA LUMPUR: Enterprises have accelerated their digitalisation process in the last three years during the COVID-19 pandemic and improved their security and reliability processes as part of the enhancement to their operations.
Huawei Enterprise Business Group president of global partner development and sales department Xiao Haijun said Huawei had played its part in the digitalisation process in terms of providing infrastructure and knowledge sharing for enterprises.
“We are growing our businesses together, enjoying the growth, and we will be together in the future. We at Huawei have studied (ways) to enhance the core values of doing partner business.
“Internally, we have the philosophy that Huawei can only be successful through partners’ success,” he said in a panel session titled “Collaborating for a New Era of Innovation and Growth” at the Huawei Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023 today.
The two-day hybrid conference is held in Shenzhen, China, and will end today.
Xiao noted that Huawei would cultivate more talents and policies for partners to enrich its portfolios in the future.
Meanwhile, Philip Hong, chief technology officer of banking software and technology services firm Sunline Technologies (one of Huawei’s partners), said customers were currently expecting more personalised and more seamless experience across all channels, including digital and traditional channels.
“We need to offer insights on the lifecycle management of things, not just the client base but also the full portfolio as well as sales and marketing processes. In order to do that, we need to get creative and provide the tools and functionalities in order to fulfil those requirements,” he added.
Another key observation, Hong said, was that customers were also increasingly looking for a one-stop solution rather than a single piece of software.
“This is a synergy that we as a single vendor can provide across all of our products, solutions and software.
“Our customers now demand more accountability from us, and this is not just talking about business-related data, but also technical ones,” he added. – BERNAMA
