MIRI: An empty warehouse behind a hotel apartment at Jalan Airport here caught fire in the wee hours of
yesterday.
A team of firefigthers from Miri fire station rushed to the scene in response to an alert at 4.44am. When they arrived at the scene, 90 percent of the building was already engulfed in flames.
They managed to bring the blaze under control at 5.30am. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
