KUCHING: The 16th Emart outlet is now officially open at Boulevard Mall today.
The supermarket will open daily from 8 am to 10 pm daily and is located at the Boulevard Ground Floor, which spans an impressive over 70,000 square feet.
The innovative supermarket is designed to provide shoppers with an “out-of-this-world experience”, featuring a unique outer space-themed decoration that makes shopping both fun and inspiring.
Speaking to reporters after the opening ceremony, chief operating officer of Emart Group Phang Kang Wai said that the supermarket opens after two months of renovation.
“We are trying to bring futuristics shopping environment to our customers.
“As we can see here, we have added a lot of LED lights, so that the LEDs can be changed according to the festive season, such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
“There will be a lot of new experience to the customer when they come to shop here,” he said.
To celebrate its opening, Emart Boulevard features exclusive grand opening promotions for the first three days from Jan 17 to 19, with the promotion including one day sales (ODs) and other exciting offers for Chinese New Year which will be ongoing until the end of this month.
Additionally, customers can earn 300 bonus points when they register as Emart members on the same day (Jan 17), adding even more value to their shopping experience.
To enhance convenience, Emart Boulevard is offering the first two hours of free parking for customers who spend RM30 or more in a single receipt.
