KABONG: Eight Parent-Teacher Associations (PIBG) and NGOs received a total of RM113,000 in grants from Kabong Assemblyman, Mohd Chee Kadir during the launching of Kabong Farmers’ Market and Ramadan Bazaar here, on Saturday.
At the function 12 mosques and 11 surau in Kabong also each received RM1,000 in assistance from Tabung Baitumal Sarawak (TBS).
Chee Kadir in a brief speech advised the recipients to use the money wisely.
The grant recipients were Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Kabong (LAKIK) RM15,000, Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Nyabor (LAKIN) RM10,000, Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Sessang (LAKIK) RM10,000, PIBG SMK Kabong (RM50,000), RELA Kabong (RM5,000), Health Clinic Advisory Panel (RM5,000), Perisai (RM3,000) and Pertubuhan Nelayan Kabong (RM15,000).
