KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday received a courtesy call from Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Eastern Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Datuk Pahlawan Syed Zahrul Putra Syed Abdullah.
Also present during the courtesy call was Brigadier General Muhammad Taha Hamdan from the Royal Malaysian Air Force and Navy Captain Mohd Hasnan Mohd Hanafiah.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss current developments on Ops Benteng carried out in relation to undocumented immigrants, the current situation in the South China Sea, and various other security matters.
