Firefighter extricate the victim

MIRI: A woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at the Mega Hotel traffic light intersection early this morning (Jan 24).

The Miri Sentral Fire and Rescue Station (Bomba) received an emergency call at 2.40 am regarding the accident involving a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Estima.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the female driver of the Perodua Viva trapped in her seat while the driver of the Toyota Estima escaped unscathed.

Firefighters used special tools to extricate the victim. After that, the victim was handed over to an ambulance team.

The operation was under control by 3.05 am and concluded at 3.08 am.
