KUCHING: A total of 95 asnaf students of SK Jalan Haji Baki received duit raya contribution from the Sarawak Welfare and Education Organisation for Underprivileged Students (PEKEPPEMS) .
Batu Kitang assemblyman Datuk Lo Khere Chiang said this initiative by PEKEPPEMS is highly meaningful in helping to ease the burden of those in need, especially as they prepare for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
“As we all know, Aidilfitri is not only a symbol of triumph after a month of fasting but also a time to strengthen ties and share blessings with those who are less fortunate.
“The duit raya given today is not just a token of appreciation but also serves as encouragement and motivation for students to continue striving for academic excellence,” he said.
He also hoped that the students receiving this contribution will make the best use of it and take it as an inspiration to achieve success in their studies.
“Knowledge is the key to a brighter future and meaningful achievements for future generations,” he added.
