KUCHING: The Lions Club of Kuching Unity, in collaboration with the Sarawak Blood Bank and Sarawak Human Development Organisation (PPIS), organised a blood donation campaign in partnership with Proton Supernau Motors 4S.

The event, aimed at saving lives through blood donation, was held yesterday (January 26), from 9 am to 2 pm at Proton Supernau Motors, Mile 4, Penrissen Road, here.

The campaign saw a total of 70 Proton Supernau employees and customers donated blood as their service to the community. In a previous drive, 60 pints were successfully collected, although five cases were deferred due to insufficient hemoglobin levels. Moving forward, the organisers plan to hold a large medical camp in April.

Since its establishment in 2020, Proton Supernau Motors has been actively involved in various community initiatives, including outreach programmes in Sarikei, Mukah, and Samarahan.

This year, under the theme “Warriors in Red”, the campaign encouraged everyone to participate with the slogan “Join the Fight!”, offering a second chance at life to those in need.
