KUCHING: As Malaysians gather to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with traditional delicacies like rendang and ketupat, Domino’s Pizza is spicing up the festive season with a bold new twist – the all new ShaWAHma Pizza.
Inspired by the rich flavours of Middle Eastern cuisine, the ShaWAHma Pizza is Domino’s latest limited time offering available in two flavours: Chicken ShaWAHma and Beef ShaWAHma.
The pizza features spiced meat, creamy Shawarma sauce, cherry tomatoes, onions, mozzarella cheese and a tangy garlic sauce drizzle.
The Chicken ShaWAHma is enhanced with crunchy green peppers, while the Beef ShaWAHma is served with fresh cucumbers for added zest.
Region Chief Executive Officer for Domino’s Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia, Ringo Joannes, said the launch of the ShaWAHma Pizza reflects Domino’s desire to be part of the festive celebration in a special way.
“Hari Raya is a celebration of joy, togetherness and generosity, something I’ve truly come to cherish at the heart of Malaysia,” he said.
Adding to the excitement, Domino’s is also bringing back its popular Cheese Volcano dip, allowing customers to enjoy their pizza with a melted cheddar cheese dip for extra indulgence.
“The festive spirit, the warmth of the people, and of course, the delicious Raya food make this season truly special.
“At Domino’s, we wanted to be part of this celebration in a unique way, by offering something extraordinary beyond the usual Raya dishes.
“That’s how the ShaWAHma Pizza was born, a bold, flavourful creation inspired by the joy of sharing great food with loved ones,” he added.
To celebrate the launch, Domino’s gave away more than 13,000 free personal-sized ShaWAHma Pizzas on Thursday.
The first 50 customers at each of its over 260 stores nationwide, including those in Sabah and Sarawak, received a free pizza on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, customers can enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the ShaWAHma Pizza, which had started on March 25.
The promotion is available for dine-in, takeaway or delivery via Domino’s website, mobile app, or at any Domino’s outlet.
