KUCHING: Sibu Hospital is seeking public assistance to locate family members or beneficiary of a patient housed at its Women’s Psychiatric Ward.
The patient is 32-year-old Keluda Lanang. She has been identified as an Iban from Rumah Lebun, Sungai Embau, Song.
According to records, the patient’s mother is still alive and the patient also has several siblings living in Sibu Jaya and Permai Jaya, Sibu as well as along Rassau River.
A statement from Sibu Hospital said no family members or relatives had paid the patient a visit throughout her stay at the ward and several attempts by the hospital to contact the nearest beneficiary had failed.
The hospital is seeking the help of the public who know the patient or her kins to immediately contact Medical Social Work Officer Nur Athirah Rawi at 084-238 818 or 084-343 333.
