KUCHING: Sarawak Skills has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Excelerate Sdn Bhd to embark on a strategic collaboration to equip aspiring and current educators with essential digital skills.
This partnership aims to empower educators to lead effectively in the rapidly evolving educational landscape and prepare the next generation of students for a digitally driven future.
The primary objectives of the MoU are as follows. First, it aims to design and deliver training courses to enhance workforce efficiency and leadership capabilities. Second, the collaboration seeks to provide technology solutions and consultations to industries in Sarawak. Third, both parties will share updated knowledge and information, ensuring continuous growth and innovation. Lastly, they will explore opportunities to organise conferences, workshops, symposiums, training programmes, seminars, and other relevant events.
Hallman Sabri, Executive Director of Sarawak Skills, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in shaping the future of education and workforce development.
“This partnership marks an important step towards strengthening digital competencies among educators and equipping them with the tools needed to adapt to the changing demands of the education sector. Together with Excelerate Sdn Bhd, we aim to bridge the digital divide and foster a future-ready workforce,” he stated.
